At Grace, we are members of the Reformed Episcopal Church, and the Anglican Church in North America. Theologically, we are the offspring of the Reformation in England, and the formation of the Church of England.

At our very foundation is our belief and reliance on the Holy Scriptures. We believe the Bible to be inspired by God, through His Holy Spirit, to the men who penned it. As such, it is fully reliable in all things, and is our primary authority in all matters of faith and life.

Additionally, we subscribe to 3 of the great Creeds of the Christian Church. A creed is a summary of our beliefs in a “bite-sized” format. The Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed, spell out line by line, exactly the doctrine which we hold in common with all of Christianity. In keeping with being a creedal church, we also hold to the decisions of the early Ecumenical Councils of the undivided Church.

We also hold to the 39 Articles of Religion, which were written during the Reformation of the Church in England.

With these three serving as our legs to a well balanced stool, we seek to follow what God has left for us in order to arrange our lives in such a way as would be pleasing to Him.
